Story Idea Still Taking Shape?

When I first started writing my book two years ago, I never imagined that it would get as far as it did. Every draft I wrote felt like a step into the unknown, and I often waited for the other shoe to drop: for me to lose interest, energy, or passion for this craft. After completing my first full manuscript, I sat back exhausted and unsure of what to do next. I knew deep down that there was still work to be done, but I was blinded by the years of effort I had already poured into it.
