Refine & Revise

One-on-One Narrative Design & Revision Mentorship

Turn Your Draft into a Book

You’ve done the hard part—you’ve written a draft. But instead of feeling accomplished, you’re staring at pages that don’t quite work the way you imagined.

Maybe…

  • Your characters aren’t hitting the emotional notes you hoped for.

  • The pacing feels uneven or drags in the middle.

  • Your plot wandered off course and lost momentum.

  • Revisions feel endless, and you’re not sure what to fix first.

The truth? Writing a draft is one thing. Shaping it into a book that sings is another.

With guidance, revision leads to clarity, confidence, and the story you set out to tell.

What if instead of endlessly reworking the same scenes, you had a clear roadmap and teammate for revision?

Picture being able to…

  • Deepen your story’s emotional core so readers connect with your characters.

  • Strengthen your structure and pacing for a smoother, page-turning read.

  • Refine character arcs and relationships so they truly resonate.

  • Revise with confidence, knowing exactly what your manuscript needs and why.

That's what

Weaving The Writer's : Refine & Revise

is here to do.

Hi, I'm Victoria.

Fiction Developmental Editor & Story-craft Mentor

I created Reshape & Refine because I’ve seen too many writers stuck in revision limbo—rewriting the same sections over and over without knowing whether they’re making things better or just different.

Revision doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With the right editorial insight and a guided plan, you can turn your draft into the story you meant to write.

Here's what other writers have to say . . .

Tiffany Dorbin

“As a new writer my coaching session was extremely helpful, Victoria asked a lot of fantastic thought provoking questions that showed me where more development for my characters and plot is needed as well as some general tips and ways to stay away from procrastination.”

Don't let these statements stop you.

“Revisions always overwhelm me.”

That’s why this mentorship is structured—you’ll never be left wondering what to do next.

“Can't I keep revising on my own?”

You could—but endless rewriting without guidance risks making your story flatter instead of stronger. With this program, you’ll have professional feedback and a clear path forward.

“It feels like a big investment.”

Because it is. But you’ve already done the hard work of finishing a draft. This is about making sure all that effort pays off with a manuscript that shines.

What Are You Waiting For?

FAQ

Do I need to have a full draft to do this?

Yes, but it doesn't have to be clean. Don't have a full first draft yet? My Seed & Structure or From Seed to Story mentorships might be a better option.

How do I know if this program is right for me?

Let me ask you a question: Do you want expert guidance, accountability, personalized feedback to help you write your novel?

If you answered yes, then this program is exactly what you need!

Do you specialize in any genres?

Yup! Check out the genres I love to work with here.

Can you guarantee I'll get published?

No editor or story-craft mentor can guarantee publication. What I can guarantee is that you'll have a stronger manuscript, a clear, revision plan, and professional-level support through the process, as long as you're ready to do the work.
