The Storyline

Professional, story-craft support, right in your pocket.

Your Story Deserves Better Than Endless Second-guessing.

Not every writer needs a full mentorship or an in-depth edit right away. Sometimes, you just need a guide you can reach out to when you’re stuck — someone to help you make a decision about a scene, clarify a character arc, give marketing tips, or cheer you on when self-doubt creeps in.

Meet the mentorship that fits in your pocket.

The Storyline: Voice Memo & Text Message Mentorship gives you direct access to me through voice memos. It’s like having a story-craft mentor in your pocket: guidance, clarity, and encouragement delivered exactly when you need it.

The Storyline is designed for writers who want flexible, professional support without a full edit or long-term mentorship.

It’s perfect if you:

  • Are drafting and need quick clarity on pacing, POV, character arcs, or world-building.

  • Are revising and want guidance on strengthening an emotional beat, untangling plot holes, or clarifying a character’s motivation.

  • Are marketing and want aligned ideas for your author platform, website, or launch plan.

  • Crave accountability, encouragement, and professional insight as you keep your momentum going.

Who Is Your Story-craft Mentor?

My name is Victoria Krouse

Before stepping fully into editing, I worked as a virtual assistant for a social media management company and later as a social media manager. I know firsthand how much creative people need both encouragement and clear strategy to bring their ideas into the world.

Now, my true passion is supporting writers. I’ve helped authors strengthen their drafts, plan revisions, polish query packages, and build aligned marketing strategies. And because I also market my own editorial business—and work with a business coach to keep growing—I’m always learning and passing those insights on to the writers I mentor.

I created The Storyline because writing can feel isolating, and sometimes you don’t need a full edit—you just need someone who understands story structure, publishing, and the ups and downs of the process to listen, respond, and keep you moving forward.
